Today on the spur of the moment I got inspired to celebrate my Jewish Irish heritage with some corned beef and cabbage. (I dated someone from Ireland for a few months--hey, that counts, right?) I'm trying this recipe. It's in the slow cooker now. It's always such a relief to know what's for dinner and have it underway early in the day, and it's fun to try something different.
Of course, now I just have to figure out what the vegetarian is going to eat--maybe I'll make some sort of cabbage and potato curry so that DH can celebrate his Indian Irish heritage too!
We're all about celebrating whatever we can, whenever we can! Adding to the fun--turns out that there is an "Irish Pub Favorites" Pandora station! It's the little things . . . .
Wishing a happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone!
